We dont grow older, we growe riper

Häromdagen sade min pappa när vi befann oss i hans gamla barndomshus: ”Vid det där fönstret satte jag och lyssnade på radion och hörde att John F. Kennedy hade blivit skjuten.” Jag älskar sådana historiska ögonblick. Bäst ser man dem i gamla fotografier. Den här bilden är från School of American Ballet år 1936.

Det här fotografiet är från 1901 när man byggde Manhattans Flatiron-byggnad i New York.

 

 

Det här är Picasso. Min favorit citatmaskin. Han sade orden i rubriken och även det här:
